Upcoming NCICC Workshop

The Stakeholders’ Workshop on the Domestic Implementation of the Rome Statute in Nigeria and Fight against Impunity in Africa

The Nigerian Coalition for the International Criminal Court (NCICC) in collaboration with the Special Working Group on the Implementation Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court at the Federal Ministry of Justice is organising a Stakeholders’ Workshop on the Domestic Implementation of the Rome Statute from 25th – 26th June 2014. The Honourable Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Bello Adoke (SAN) is billed to make a key note speech and to declare the workshop open on Wednesday 25th June 2014 at 9:00 am. The dates of the workshop are as follows:

Venue: Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja

Time: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm prompt daily

The workshop is aimed at galvanising local and international support for the National Assembly to pass into law the Crimes Against Humanity, War Crimes, Genocide and Related Offences Bill, 2012 and to ensure that those who commit international crimes in Nigeria are held accountable under the Nigerian legal system.
